Tuition credit will not be offered for any reason.

Any fee once paid is non-refundable. Please do not ask for refund and put everyone involved under unwanted stress. Tuition credit or refunds are not going to be offered if students miss multiple classes for any reason.

If a lesson must be cancelled, parents will have to notify the teacher by e-mail, or by phone. Please make sure that the teacher has acknowledged the cancellation and does not end up waiting for the student. Please give as much notice as possible when canceling a lesson. The teacher is not obligated to make up a lesson that is cancelled by the student or parent for any reason whatsoever. The student will still be charged full fees for any cancellations.

If a student must reschedule any class, then arrangements with the teacher need to be made at least 24hours in advance of the original scheduled class. Teacher will try to offer make-up to the best of her ability. But cannot guarantee any such make-up. In any given month, a student will not be offered more than 1 make-up class due to rescheduling. If a student requests for rescheduling a class less than 24 hours of the original class, then no make-up will be offered.

Attendance is mandatory for every class in any given month when the student is enrolled. Teacher expects students to be ready to play at their scheduled lesson time. If it’s not possible to arrive on time, please let the teacher know. If a student does not come for a particular class without notifying, then no make-up class should be expected under any circumstances. Full tuition fee will be charged for that class. If a student is ill, then parents are expected to notify teacher in advance and schedule a make-up class.

Any lesson that is cancelled by the teacher for any non-weather-related reason will be made up. As a courtesy, the teacher will attempt to make up lessons cancelled by the student or parent. These make-up lessons are not guaranteed. Lessons that are missed without prior notification to the teacher will not be made up. Make-up lessons will not carry over to the next month unless they are the result of a teacher-cancelled lesson. If a student is unable to make it to the makeup class offered by the teacher, then no further make-up classes will be provided and the class will be assumed to be cancelled by the student. Teacher will try to coordinate rescheduling any semi-private lessons, if possible, with other parents only if a request has been made 24 hours in advance. If we are unable to reschedule the semi-private lesson, then a 15 min make-up class will be provided. If the parent wants a 30min, Private make-up class, then the fee for Private class will be charged. Only 1 make-up class will be carried over to next month.

If you must miss lessons for more than one month but wish to continue as a student, you may choose from two options:
1. Discontinue and then re-enroll, as a new student, upon your return. If you choose this option, re-enrollment is subject to availability.
2. Reserve your class time by continuing to pay monthly tuition and committing to staying on track with your assignments. For students in semi-private lessons, this is mandatory if their partner is not taking a break. There are occasions when student do have to leave. Teacher commits her time to each student at the beginning of a month and it is almost impossible to fill that timeslot if a student
discontinues classes in the middle of the month. If you want to permanently discontinue the class, then 1 full month notice is a must. The 1 month period will begin on the day the student notifies the teacher of their decision to discontinue the class. The student is expected to pay the full fees for that period and also abide by all the rules mentioned in the studio policy listed above.
