Student Stories
Our daughter (Ayana Rabindra) has been learning piano from Neha for the past eight years, starting in kindergarten - her journey with Neha has been truly special, growing up with a deep love for piano under Neha's affectionate guidance. Beyond her exceptional piano skills, Neha has a remarkable ability to connect with young children, nurturing their passion for music and motivating them. My daughter always looked forward to her lessons each week.
Neha incorporates a variety of musical styles into her teaching, encouraging students to play to their fullest potential. For annual recitals, she carefully selects pieces that challenge and inspire, ensuring that by the end of the season, students have grown one step ahead of themselves, musically and technically.
More than a teacher, Neha creates a warm and inclusive environment, not only for her students but also for their families to connect to their children through music. She actively shares feedback, making piano lessons an enjoyable and enriching experience for everyone. Her recitals are especially unique, bringing families together on stage—our family has performed at these events, and they have always been memorable moments.
Neha is a genuinely compassionate, detail-oriented, and inspiring piano teacher - and a very beautiful person to mentor children!

Our son Atharva loves his piano classes with Neha! He’s been taking lessons with her since he was 4, and from the beginning, Neha has shown incredible patience and understanding, tapping into his interests and strengths. She connected with him in such a warm and engaging way that learning became fun. Before we knew it, he was performing at a recital at just 4, and now it’s an eagerly anticipated annual event. Their unique teacher-student bond is truly remarkable, as they seem to understand each other intuitively. We are immensely thankful for the positive, supportive atmosphere she creates, making every lesson a joy.

Our son started taking music lessons with Ms. Neha when he was just five years old, and he’s been attending her classes for the past three years. From the very beginning, Ms. Neha made learning music fun and engaging, introducing concepts in a way that’s easy for young kids to grasp.
She starts by teaching them to play first, which helped our son build confidence before going into music theory. He enjoys his lessons and always looks forward to the annual concert that Ms. Neha organizes.
We highly recommend her to parents who are interested in introducing music to their young children.
Both my kids Gautam & Girish have been learning piano with Mrs.Neha since 2018/2019. Our goal was to not just learn playing the instrument but also become strong in music theory. Neha 's music classes catered to all those aspects. Based on our experience, these are the positive experiences one can gain from attending her classes
1. Her curriculum involves learning basic music theory of reading notes, rhythms and foundation level simple songs through materials from Simply music. This builds the foundation to learn the instrument. My younger child, who's taken up band in middle school, is finding it easier to play the clarinet.
2. Strong emphasis is given to proper fingering through learning scales and routine practices.
3. Her class is also structured in a way conducive to the student's learning abilities. If a student is facing difficulty understanding one concept, more practice sessions are given until he/she masters it.
4. After getting a good grasp of the foundation, students are given songs, where they read the notes by themselves and figure out how to play. Learning is also methodical, where they learn the right hand and left hand fingering separately, master it and then slowly put them together step by step.
5. Students require an opportunity to show their skills. Neha's studio organizes an annual recital, where every student gets an opportunity to showcase their talents. Song selection is made well in advance and hours of training and practice are put in by the students with adequate guidance every step of the way from the teacher.
6. Music expands knowledge and helps in creative thinking. Neha's studio provides ample opportunities in this regard. Students are encouraged to make their own song selection and make an attempt in figuring out the scales/chords. This definitely motivates the students and provides a broadening experience in different genres of music

My son, Aditya, has been learning piano with Ms. Neha for about two years, and it has been an incredible journey. Aditya thoroughly enjoys his piano lessons, thanks to Ms. Neha's exceptional teaching approach. She not only imparts the necessary skills to become a great pianist but also nurtures creativity, encouraging her students to compose their own pieces.
Under Ms. Neha's guidance, Aditya has created his own improvisations on popular songs like Minuet in G, Ode to Joy, and the Super Mario theme song. He has proudly performed these pieces at school talent shows, showcasing his growth and confidence.
Ms. Neha's annual recitals are a highlight of the year. She pays meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each student performs at their best. The recitals feature compositions based on popular Indian and English music, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish. It is a true delight to experience these performances and witness the students' talents.
Aditya looks forward to his piano classes each week, and it is a joy to see him blossom and grow under Ms. Neha's guidance. We are grateful for her dedication and the positive impact she has had on Aditya's musical journey.
Siddharth has been learning piano under Neha's guidance since he was 5 years old, making it six years now. He has been fortunate to have her as his teacher, as she is loving, approachable, and deeply dedicated. Neha tailors her teaching to Siddharth's individual needs, ensuring he grasps each lesson fully before progressing and encouraging consistent practice until he masters the concepts. Her patient and engaging approach has fostered Siddharth's love for the piano, and he eagerly looks forward to every class.
The pride and joy Siddharth feels when friends and family appreciate his skills are indescribable. Thank you, Neha, for being a patient, friendly, and knowledgeable teacher who has made such a positive impact on his musical journey.
