How it all began
My musical journey began at the age of 8, when I started exploring a variety of musical disciplines, including Kathak, Sitar, Tabla, and Vocal music. This diverse foundation laid a strong base for my future studies in Western music and shaped my approach to teaching.
With a deep passion for music, I pursued a Master’s degree in music From SNDT Women’s University Mumbai, learning from some of the most accomplished and celebrated teachers from around the world. This advanced education not only enriched my understanding of music but also deepened my commitment to sharing that knowledge with others.
I was also enrolled in a PhD program in Music and began working in several international schools in Mumbai. It was here that I discovered my love for teaching, especially working with young children. Teaching has always come naturally to me, and I find immense joy in guiding students through their musical journey.
Philosophy
Over the past 18 years of teaching, I’ve learned as much from my students as they have from me. I believe that teaching is a mutual learning process, where growth happens for both the teacher and the student. I’m passionate about self-improvement and believe that learning is a lifelong journey—especially in music, where the more you learn, the more you realize how much there is still to discover.
After earning numerous degrees and certifications, I came to one key realization: Music is a performing art, and showcasing one’s skills through performance is essential. While theoretical knowledge is important, it’s the ability to perform that truly matters. This is why I am committed to nurturing true performers and I believe in creating Performers !!

In my teaching, I use a fast yet simple method for learning piano that allows students to progress quickly. But my approach goes beyond just technical skills; I focus on helping each student develop a musical ear, integrate music into their lives, and build a lifelong relationship with the music that speaks to their heart. Every student is unique, and I customize my lessons to meet the individual needs of each one. My ultimate goal is not only to help students play music but to help them truly enjoy it and make it an enduring part of their lives.
For me, the most inspiring music is born when Western music intertwines with the rich traditions of Indian classical melodies. I love blending different genres, creating a unique fusion that bridges cultures and showcases the beauty of musical diversity. This passion for experimentation allows me to craft sounds that are both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition.

With 20 years of experience and a master’s degree in music, Neha Rathore is a passionate educator and performer who has graced various stages throughout her career. She loves working with children and has explored diverse musical genres, including Western classical, Indian classical, pop, and Bollywood music. Additionally, she has dedicated herself to helping special needs children discover their love for music.
As a certified Simply Music teacher, Neha employs a fast yet simple method for learning piano, enabling students to progress quickly. However, her teaching extends far beyond just technical skills. Alongside captivating audiences, she passionately shares her expertise through her self-developed curriculum, which emphasizes a unique and holistic approach to teaching music.
Her teaching style blends the rich traditions of Indian classical music with contemporary techniques, ensuring that students not only master vocal skills but also develop a deep emotional connection with music. Szzhe focuses on voice culture, breath control, improvisation, and expressions, tailoring her methods to suit each student's strengths and goals.
