How it all began

My musical journey began at the age of 8, when I started exploring a variety of musical disciplines, including Kathak, Sitar, Tabla, and Vocal music. This diverse foundation laid a strong base for my future studies in Western music and shaped my approach to teaching.

With a deep passion for music, I pursued a Master’s degree in music from SNDT Women’s University Mumbai, learning from some of the most accomplished and celebrated teachers from around the world. This advanced education not only enriched my understanding of music but also deepened my commitment to sharing that knowledge with others.

I was also enrolled in a PhD program in Music and began working in several international schools in Mumbai. It was here that I discovered my love for teaching, especially working with young children. Teaching has always come naturally to me, and I find immense joy in guiding students through their musical journey.

Philosophy

Over the past 18 years of teaching, I’ve learned as much from my students as they have from me. I believe that teaching is a mutual learning process, where growth happens for both the teacher and the student. I’m passionate about self-improvement and believe that learning is a lifelong journey—especially in music, where the more you learn, the more you realize how much there is still to discover.

After earning numerous degrees and certifications, I came to one key realization: Music is a performing art, and showcasing one’s skills through performance is essential. While theoretical knowledge is important, it’s the ability to perform that truly matters. This is why I am committed to nurturing true performers and I believe in creating Performers !!

Our Story

Mentor, Guide, Dream Builder

Over the past 18 years, I have come to realize that my passion extends far beyond simply teaching—I truly love discovering and nurturing the hidden talents within each of my students.

For me it’s more satisfying when I play a much deeper role in my students’ lives—not just as a teacher, but as a mentor, a guide, and a supportive companion on their musical journey. With a keen ear for potential and a heart full of patience, I strive to nurture every child with genuine care, helping them discover their voice and grow in confidence.

Our annual recital is a beautiful celebration where our students take the stage to play, sing, and truly shine. During this time, I find myself taking on many roles—director, producer, composer, coordinator, and teacher—as I work to elevate the entire production to the highest possible level. It’s incredibly satisfying to see so many of my students achieve things they once believed were beyond their reach. Watching their growth and joy in those moments remains one of the greatest rewards of my work.

What you get

We use a fast yet simple method for learning piano that empowers students to play music both with and without sheet music. This dual approach builds not only strong reading skills but also intuitive, ear-based playing.

Whether it’s piano or singing, our teaching goes far beyond technical and theoretical growth. A central focus of our lessons is improvisation and composition—inspiring students to explore their creativity and express themselves through original music. I'm constantly amazed by the unique musical ideas my students bring to life.

We work to help each student develop a strong musical ear, integrate music into their daily life, and form a lasting, personal connection to the music that moves them.

Every student is different, and we customize each lesson to meet their individual needs, interests, and goals. ultimate goal is not just to teach students how to play piano or sing but to help them love it—and to make music a joyful, enduring part of their lives.

For me, the most inspiring music is born when Western music intertwines with the rich traditions of Indian classical melodies. I love blending different genres, creating a unique fusion that bridges cultures and showcases the beauty of musical diversity. This passion for experimentation allows me to craft sounds that are both innovative and deeply rooted in tradition.
